ALTAR SERVERS

Do you have a responsible and eager child in 3rd grade or above who would want to play an essential role in our church community?  We are looking for altar servers to assist during our Mass services!

What Do Altar Servers Do?  Altar servers play a vital role in the church service by assisting Fr. Sean during Mass.   Responsibilities include:  lighting candles, carrying the processional cross, and helping with various other tasks.

Who Can Join?  Children from 3rd grade and above are welcome to become altar servers.  No prior experience is necessary, and training will be provided.

What Is My Commitment?  We are looking for a once-a-month commitment allowing your child to serve at a Mass that fits your family’s schedule.

Why Join?

     ¨ Learn about liturgy and Mass.

     ¨ Build valuable life skills...responsibility and teamwork.

     ¨ Make new friends.

Attention 2nd-Grade Religious Education Parents

 Mark Your Calendars!

The Sacrament of First Penance is scheduled for Sunday, January 28, 2024 during Religious Education.  We kindly ask you to ensure your child continues practicing their prayers in preparation for this significant event.  All the necessary prayers were sent home with your child at the beginning of the Religious Education term.

As the date approaches, the children will be sent home with a letter containing more detailed information about the First Penance ceremony.  Your cooperation and support are greatly appreciated.

Are you passionate about guiding and inspiring the youth in our community?  We have an exciting opportunity for you!  We are looking for 6 dedicated individuals to volunteer to lead our Youth Group twice a year.

The Staff have collaborated on innovative ways to ensure the success of our youth group and are eager to work with you.
