Religious Educations Happenings

FIRST PENANCE

On December 21st, our First Penance and celebration was truly beautiful. Each of our students did an amazing job. They  proached the Sacrament with sincerity and courage. Fr. Sean shared that the children did onderfully, a testament to their preparation and readiness.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Sean for generously taking his time to facilitate the Sacrament during this busy holiday season, and to Jackie for her dedication in preparing the students so thoughtfully. We are also deeply thankful for our wonderful parents whose support and encouragement continue to guide their children in faith.

Thank you to everyone who kept our students in prayer. It was truly a beautiful day filled with God’s mercy and love.

THOU SHALT NOT SPOIL THE SURPRISE

It took a month of careful planning and plenty of secret-keeping, but the Religious Ed program pulled off a wonderful surprise on Sunday, October 26th!

Two months ago, Fr. Sean was entrusted with an incredible challenge — taking on leadership of a second parish tarting October 1st.  Since then, he’s shown true superhero strength, traveling between churches and still making time to visit with our Religious Ed children each week.

To show our gratitude for all he does, our students created heartfelt cards while our catechists gathered thoughtful gifts, showering him with appreciation and love.

Fr. Sean, we may drive you a little crazy at times, but please know how much we value your dedication, kindness, and support.

Thank you for all you do for our parishes and families!
